PRESENTATION : Tablet – Blister pack of 200mg x 5 x 10 tablets. Suspension: Bottle of 1 x 120 ml.
ACTIONS : Epilepsin is a drug of choice for the treatment of epilepsy it is an anticonvulsant and specific analgesic for trigeminal neuralgia. The psychotropic action of Epilepsin helps the patient to become more sociable and to integrate himself more easily into society. It is suitable for use either as monotherapy or in combination with other anti -convulsants.
INDICATIONS : Epilepsin is indicated in patients who have not responded satisfactorily to treatment with other agents such as phenytion, phenobarbitol or primidone, but Epilepsin is not recommended as the drug of first choice in seizures disorders. It is reserved for patients whose seizures are difficult to control or patients experiencing marked side effects (e.g. excessive sedation)
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION : Dosage should be adjusted to the needs of the individual patient.

Injection – Pack of 500µg x 10 x 1 ml ampoule.
INDICATIONS : Peripheral neuropathies such as diabetic neuropathy and polyneuritis, megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency.
DOSAGE ADMINISTRATION :
Neuropathies : The usual adult dose is one ampoule (500µg Mecobalamin), administered intramuscularly or intravenously once a day at the frequency of three times a week.
