NEUROBION (Vitamin B-complex,)

PDFPrintE-mail

PRESENTATION: Film-coated tab 10 x 10’s Amp 3 mL x 25’s.
DESCRIPTION: Each tablet contains; Vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate) 100 mg, vitamin B6 (pyridoxal HCl) 200 mg and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 200 mcg.
Each 3ml ampoule contains Vitamin B1 (thiamine HCI) 100 mg, vitamin B6 (pyridoxal HCI) 100 mg and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 1000 mcg. Neurobion is a combination of 3 essential neurotropic vitamins of the B group.
ACTIONS:Pharmacology:Neurobion contains vitamins B1, B6 and B12 which act as co-enzymes and accordingly constitute substances essential for the metabolism. Their role in the metabolism of peripheral and central nerve cells, as well as their concomitant cells, must be seen in correlation with the maintenance of the structural and functional properties of the nervous system.

DELAX (Bisacodyl)

PDFPrintE-mail

PRESENTATION: Tab (sugar/enteric-coated) 5 mg x 25's.
ACTIONS: Pharmacology: Bisacodyl is a locally-acting laxative from the triarylmethane group, which, after metabolism by hydrolysis stimulates the mucosa of the intestine causing peristalsis of the colon.
Pharmacokinetics: Absorption: hydrolysis of bisacodyl by enzymes of the enteric mucosa forms desacetylbisacodyl, which is absorbed and excreted partly via urine and bile as glucuronide. By bacterial cleavage, the active form, the free diphenol is formed in the colon. Formulations of bisacodyl which are resistant to gastric and small intestine juice e.g., bisacodyl sugar-coated tablets, reach the colon without any appreciable absorption and therefore avoid enterohepatic circulation. Consequently, these forms have an onset of action between 6-12 hrs.
Excretion: After administration, only small amounts of the drug are systematically available. Urinary excretion reflects low

ENCEPHABOL (Pyritinol diHCl mononitrate)

PDFPrintE-mail

PRENTATION: Film-coated tab x 10 x 10’s.

ACTIONS: Pharmacology: In patients, pyritinol influences impaired mental performance(particularly learning and memory functions). In healthy subjects, an improvement of capability and readiness for mental performance can be demonstrated under suitable conditions (e.g., hypoxia, chronic administration).
Pharmacokinetics:Pyritinol is rapidly absorbed after oral administration. Maximum radioactivity concentration is reached 30-60 min after oral administration of 100-mg 14Cpyritincl HCl-H20. The plasma eliminate half-life of total radioactivity is 2.5 hrs
(In the time interval of 2-8 hrs). Pyritinol is very rapidly metabolized. The metabolites are eliminated in the form of their conjugates preferably via the kidney. Total urine excretion amounted to 72.4-74.2% within 24 hrs alter oral or lV administration. The by far largest portion is excreted during first 4 hrs alter administration. Only 5% of the substance is ..
